Get off the blood sugar rollercoaster
Go beyond the 3 PM crash, the cravings you can’t shake, and bloodwork trending the wrong way. We test — not guess — what’s driving your blood sugar, so you can stay sharp at work and fully present for life outside of it.
I see you.
You’re a chronically-busy professional.
You’re trying to make healthier choices.
But perplexed by your lack of progress.
Surprised by stress-eating from the
communal candy dish at work. Again.
Tired of the 3 PM crash that sends you
looking for your third cup of coffee.
Concerned because your bloodwork showed
your A1c is trending in the wrong direction.
But you’re more determined than ever to get well.
Because you feel worthy of reclaiming your energy and vitality.
Because your energy should be devoted to the strategic decisions
that matter — not hijacked by cravings.
Then you’re like the clients who have had excellent outcomes with me.

How I Help
Two steps
from blood sugar rollercoaster
to blood sugar balance.
Your blood sugar response shapes your energy, cravings, focus, and mood throughout the day. While routine bloodwork provides an important snapshot, my approach goes further — looking at how diet, stress, sleep, and your daily cortisol rhythm may each be shaping your blood sugar response.
Book Your Initial Consultation
This isn’t your typical 15-minute appointment. Our 90-minute Initial Consultation gives us the time to go deep. Using your health history and 303-point Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire, we connect the dots across your energy, cravings, sleep, stress, and mood — and uncover patterns that may point to blood sugar imbalance but are often overlooked in standard care.
We also review your food and mood journal to understand your current diet and lifestyle — from protein balance to fiber intake and meal timing to daily routines — giving us a clearer picture of your starting point before we move into testing.
+ Connect the Dots
Begin Your Blood Sugar Program
You’ll start with a comprehensive blood panel — checking glucose, HbA1c, insulin, lipids, and other key markers involved in blood sugar handling — to flag imbalances we can address through diet, lifestyle, and targeted supplementation. When appropriate, we use adrenal testing to understand how your cortisol rhythm and stress response may be influencing your blood sugar.
Then we add the piece a blood panel can't give us: your real-time glucose response. Using a continuous glucose monitor, we see how your blood sugar responds to your meals, stress, sleep — and use those insights to find your blood sugar sweet spot.
+ Test What Matters
Well hey there,
I'm Patrick Lor, a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who helps chronically-busy professionals move beyond the blood sugar rollercoaster to steady, reliable energy and a mind that stays locked on the task at hand — instead of getting sidetracked by obsessive thoughts about the communal candy dish at work.
My approach combines comprehensive bloodwork and real-time glucose monitoring to understand what may be behind the symptoms you’re experiencing. From there, we use food-as-medicine to build a personalized dietary approach around your individual response — not a generic low-carb diet.
Because when your blood sugar is balanced, you can feel satisfied, energized, and focused between meals — with your attention where it belongs: staying sharp through the afternoon meeting and cheering your kids on from the sidelines, fully present and enjoying the moment.

Every body is unique — but most clients begin noticing meaningful changes within 3–6 months as we work toward better blood sugar balance. This timeframe allows us to build sustainable habits and track meaningful progress — not chase another quick fix.

Routine bloodwork provides an important snapshot but typically stops at fasting glucose or A1C once a year. My approach goes further — evaluating a comprehensive blood panel through a functional lens and adding continuous glucose monitoring to see how your blood sugar responds to your meals, stress, sleep, and daily routine.
As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and Restorative Wellness Practitioner (RWP), I use those insights to build a personalized nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement strategy around your unique biology — not a generic low-carb protocol.

Not at all. Blood sugar imbalance can show up in everyday life as energy crashes, hard-to-ignore cravings, hunger between meals, and changes in energy and mood.
Whether your bloodwork is trending in the wrong direction, you’re already managing a diagnosis, or you’re simply tired of the rollercoaster, we start by investigating the bigger picture.

Yes. If your glucose or A1c is trending upward, or you’re already receiving medical care for prediabetes or Type 2 diabetes, nutrition and lifestyle can be an important part of your broader care plan.
My role is complementary to your medical care — helping you understand your food and lifestyle patterns and providing individualized nutritional support for blood sugar balance.
If you take medication, I’m not able to prescribe, adjust, or advise on it — that remains between you and your prescribing physician. My role is to support the nutrition and lifestyle side of your care, while your doctor manages your medication. As we make dietary and lifestyle changes, I’ll encourage you to monitor your blood sugar closely and keep your prescribing physician informed so they can determine whether any changes to your medication are appropriate.

It’s a core part of the Blood Sugar Program. A CGM gives us real-time insight into your individual glucose response — showing us how your blood sugar responds to your meals, stress, sleep, exercise, and daily routine.
Instead of guessing what works for your body, we can see it — and use those insights to fine-tune your nutrition and lifestyle and find your blood sugar sweet spot.
-
Cortisol is one of the hormones involved in regulating blood sugar, particularly during times of stress. When your stress response or daily cortisol rhythm is out of balance, it may be harder to keep your blood sugar steady — leaving you more prone to energy crashes, cravings, hunger, and mood changes throughout the day.
That’s why we look beyond what’s on your plate. When appropriate, adrenal testing can give us additional insight into your daily cortisol rhythm and whether stress may be part of your blood sugar picture.

Food always comes first. But targeted supplements can provide the extra support your body needs to restore balance.
When supplements are appropriate, recommendations are based on your blood panel and functional test results — not trends — so your body gets exactly what it truly needs to thrive. I only recommend professional-grade options through a trusted online dispensary — and clients receive a discount.

I get it — your schedule is full. You give eight hours a day to your company's goals, then fit your own health into whatever time is left.
But the 3 PM crash, hard-to-ignore cravings, and bloodwork trending in the wrong direction don't become easier to address by putting them off. This isn't a quick fix, and it asks for real follow-through. Eventually it comes down to a choice: keep pushing through the energy lulls and cravings, or carve out the space to build energy and satiety that actually lasts.

No. While services are self-pay, this gives us the freedom to use advanced testing — including comprehensive bloodwork and continuous glucose monitoring — and create a personalized strategy around what your body needs, rather than what an insurance plan covers.
