Get off the blood sugar rollercoaster

Go beyond the 3 PM crash, the cravings you can’t shake, and bloodwork trending the wrong way. We test — not guess — what’s driving your blood sugar, so you can stay sharp at work and fully present for life outside of it.

I see you.

You’re a chronically-busy professional.
You’re trying to make healthier choices.
But perplexed by your lack of progress.

Surprised by stress-eating from the
communal candy dish at work. Again.

Tired of the 3 PM crash that sends you
looking for your third cup of coffee.

Concerned because your bloodwork showed
your A1c is trending in the wrong direction.

But you’re more determined than ever to get well.
Because you feel worthy of reclaiming your energy and vitality.
Because your energy should be devoted to the strategic decisions
that matter — not hijacked by cravings.

Then you’re like the clients who have had excellent outcomes with me.

How I Help

From blood sugar rollercoaster to balance

Your blood sugar shapes your energy, cravings, focus, and mood throughout the day. While routine bloodwork provides an important snapshot, my approach looks beyond what standard care typically captures — exploring how your diet, stress, and sleep may be shaping your blood sugar response.

1

Book Your Initial Consultation (90 minutes)

Using your health history and my 303-point Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire, we connect the dots across your energy, cravings, sleep, stress, and mood — and uncover patterns that may point to blood sugar imbalance.

We also review your food and mood journal to understand your current diet and lifestyle — from protein balance to fiber intake and meal timing to daily routines — giving us a clearer picture of your starting point before we move into testing.

+ Connect the Dots

2

Begin Your Blood Sugar Program (3-6 months)

You’ll start with a comprehensive blood panel — checking glucose, HbA1c, insulin, lipids, and other key markers involved in blood sugar handling — to flag imbalances we can address through diet, lifestyle, and targeted supplementation.

Then we add the piece a blood panel can't give us: your real-time glucose response. Using a continuous glucose monitor, we see how your blood sugar responds to your meals, stress, sleep — and use those insights to find your blood sugar sweet spot.

+ Test What Matters

Sneak Peek

What testing can reveal

Elevated HbA1c

May indicate that your blood sugar has been running higher than ideal, influenced by what you eat, how you combine foods, and when you eat.

We'll fine-tune your balance of protein, fiber, and greens to support steadier blood sugar.

Reveals longer-term blood sugar patterns that a single fasting reading may miss.

Elevated triglycerides

When you eat sugary and starchy carbs, they're broken down into glucose (blood sugar). Consumed in excess, some can be converted into triglycerides (a type of fat).

We'll work on reducing carbohydrate density and incorporating muscle-centric movement.

Can offer clues about how well your body responds to insulin alongside other blood markers.

Sneak Peek

What CGM can reveal

If your blood sugar is running your day, cutting carbs isn't always the answer. A continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps us see how your body responds to what you eat, how much, and what you pair it with — turning glucose data into smarter food choices.

Well hey there,

I'm Patrick Lor, a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who helps chronically-busy professionals move beyond the blood sugar rollercoaster to steady, reliable energy and a mind that stays locked on the task at hand — instead of getting sidetracked by obsessive thoughts about the communal candy dish at work.

My approach combines comprehensive bloodwork and real-time glucose monitoring to understand what may be behind the symptoms you’re experiencing. From there, we use food-as-medicine to build a personalized dietary approach around your individual response — not a generic low-carb diet.

Because when your blood sugar is balanced, you can feel satisfied, energized, and focused between meals — with your attention where it belongs: staying sharp through the afternoon meeting and cheering your kids on from the sidelines, fully present and enjoying the moment.
